Dr Clifton will update General Practitioners and Practice Nurses on the diagnosis and management of asthma in primary care.
He will explain what tests need to be done and treatment options. He will present case studies and discuss when patients should be referred to secondary care

As well as working for Respiratory Matters, Sophie still works as a respiratory clinician in primary care. She will present on how to improve compliance in asthma patients.
The meeting is open to GP Principals, Salaried GPs, Locum GPs, Community Matrons and Nurse Practitioners working in PCTs in West Yorkshire only. When completing the registration form, please use your practice address (not your home address). Locums should use the address of one of the practices they work at.
We prepare a fixed number of delegate packs for each meeting. If you attend a meeting without registering we may run out of packs and therefore you will not be given an attendance certificate or presentation handouts.
